Mary Anne Hawrylak, Founder and CEO
Mary Anne founded the Kingstree Group following a career in Occupational Therapy which included working with pediatric and brain injury patients. Mary Anne graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Occupational Therapy.
Her interest and expertise led her to work in insurance and cost containment industry in the workers compensation arena. In creating the Kingstree Group she was able to include solid principles of care management and cost containment in an industry that was and to some degree, still is, mired in regulation and restrictions. Over the past 20 years, Kingstree has grown to be a national firm and with a reputation for innovative solutions for the workers compensation industry.
Mary Anne is also an avid philanthropist and has expanded her passion for community volunteerism and involvement to all Kingstree. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Devereux Foundation and is currently Co-Chairing the Gala Committee which organizes an annual fundraiser contributing more than $200,000 each year in support of the important Devereux initiatives such as fighting human trafficking. Kingstree is proud to have been selected as Smart CEO Best Run Companies. Other organizations include NAWBO, NAFE and WBENC. In her own community in suburban Philadelphia, Mary Anne also supports the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, which donates over $400,000 each year to Bryn Mawr Hospital.
When not carving out new directions and making inroads in our industry she travels extensively and believes the world is her classroom.
